Cashier

Locations: Doha and Kuwait

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive payment by cash, cheque, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits

2. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers

3. Deposit cash/cheque in bank and monitor the clearance

4. Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change

5. Maintain petty cash as per business requirement and reconcile it on daily basis

6. Maintain daily cash report

7. Calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales

8. Perform bank reconciliation weekly

9. Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins

10. Receiving payments and reconciling them with total sales

11. Ensure all transactions are getting recorded in the system

12. Resolve customer complaints

13. Reconcile all payable and receivable balances as per books and maintain the smooth process of payments

Education & Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Accounting

Experience:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role in Travel Industry
2. Should have working experience on any ERP system

Requirements:

1. Available to join immediately

2. Must have an NOC and local transferable visa

3. Excellent communication skills
4. Arabic is an advantage

5. Excellent interpersonal skills

6. Excellent computer skills (MS Word & Excel)
7. Self-motivated, self-confident and proactive
